In 2024, Dr. Que (pronounced "KAY") celebrates his 22nd year of practice in the profession of medicine. After two decades, he still considers himself fortunate to be in a profession devoted to alleviating suffering and helping people in their quest to find happiness. Dr. Que provides integrated psychotherapy and/or medication management based on the unique circumstances of his patients. He listens to each patient carefully and with a thoroughness designed to glean the subtle nuances that distinguish each person under his care.
Dr. Que strives for a genuinely collaborative doctor-patient relationship in which the risks, benefits, and alternatives of a given treatment are discussed in plain language. It is important to note that some individuals under Dr. Que's care--after assessing their clinical needs and hearing their personal preferences--do not receive any psychotropic medications and are instead treated exclusively with psychotherapy. Of note, all new patients undergo a comprehensive 90-minute-long initial psychiatric assessment.
Dr. Que's goal is to provide each patient with a sophisticated multi-perspective understanding of their illness so that the patient's autonomy shines through in each medical decision. Dr. Que views his profession as a calling in life and seeks to provide an outstanding level of service to each and every patient. He completed his Psychiatry Residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital (consistently ranked in the Top 5 in Psychiatry per U.S. News & World Report) in Baltimore, Maryland.
